Outdoor Space Decorating

If you are like me, you are anxious to start decorating your outdoor space and make it into an oasis. Growing up, we had a huge outdoor living space with a huge deck. Many of us, though, live in a city where rent is high and space is minimal. So, if you have a small space, how can you create a warm and comfortable atmosphere outside? First, keep in mind a smaller space is not necessarily a bad thing. It’s more intimate when having guests over, and it costs much less to furnish.
1. Add Bold Colors
Selecting furniture with bold colors like this Fermob Dune Mesh Collection will give your space energy and will instantly brighten your mood.
Choose a more natural palette to create a warm majestic feel to your space.
2. Grow a Vertical Space
Even though you may have minimal space, it doesn't mean you have to choose between growing a garden and having comfortable seating.
Take advantage of any vertical space and create a beautiful garden.
If your outdoor room has walls take advantage of them by hanging outdoor lights, lanterns, wind chimes, and raised planters.
Urns or vases with tall ornamental grasses will give your space a great definition.
3. Visualize Your Space
When deciding what furniture to purchase, visualize what type of look you want your patio to have.
If you like a more traditional look, why not try these Fanback rocker Adirondack chairs?
Your furniture pieces do not have to match, but there should be an element that ties everything together.
Accent pillows or decorative accents as a centerpiece are an excellent way to flow nicely through your space. Remember, too much of anything in a small space is not the look you want.
Once you create you’re comfortable, relaxing space, it’s time to enjoy it all summer long!
