Resolution #3 Finish My Home Improvement Projects

I admit, as an interior designer I fall short of having the perfect home. I have enough ideas, plans and initiated projects to fill several notebooks and a garage. Completing a project requires spending hours on the phone, hiring contractors and supervising results. Last summer I made large dent in transforming a muddy backyard into a series of decks and patios that I can enjoy for the entire year. I must admit, in the last few weeks, the project has come to a screeching halt as the holidays and visits from the extended family have taken precedence.  Below zero temps also forced me and my reluctant workforce inside. 

I have found in past years, that the cold winter months are the perfect time to catch up on reading. It is also the very best time to order new plants for the gardens and new garden furniture for the coming Spring. In only a few short months it will be Spring again with plenty of outdoor activities, projects and planting to be done.  I will be glad that I spent these weeks finishing up the plans for my patio, ordering my patio furniture and garden plants.
