It’s made of high-quality, kiln-dried Eastern White Pine, which is both abundant and sustainable. By striving to maintain the wood’s natural integrity, each piece is truly unique with variations in grain, tone and texture. Staying true to this concept, the distressed, hand-applied finish gives each piece the look of a well-loved antique.

NOTE: All painted pieces are finished with a clear, satin, acrylic lacquer. Bright natural light, reflected or direct sunlight can cause changes in the pine that is used in these pieces - especially light painted colors. Knots, heavy resin streaks, seasonal cracking are all natural characteristics of pine products. As they age and are exposed to light these characteristics can become more a prominent part of the finish. This is a natural process in pine furniture giving it an antique look.
Constructed of solid pine, however Luan wood is also used for some cabinet applications, such backs, side panels and bottom of drawers. As with all hand-made furniture, expect some minor imperfections.
