Southern Pine Carolina Hutch w/Dover Hutch Top
The Carolina Hutch is a great piece for storage and fits nicely in the dining room or use as a kitchen storage cabinet. Each shelf has a plate groove.
This cabinet is handcrafted by Georgian craftsmen, and is inspired by early American furniture. It’s made of high-quality, kiln-dried Eastern White Pine, which is both abundant and sustainable. By striving to maintain the wood’s natural integrity, each piece is truly unique with variations in grain, tone and texture. Staying true to this concept, the distressed, hand-applied finish gives each piece the look of a well-loved antique.

If choosing the optional 2nd color for the inside of the hutch, the shelves will also be that same color as they are fixed shelves. NOTE: All painted pieces are finished with a clear, satin, acrylic lacquer. Bright natural light, reflected or direct sunlight can cause changes in the pine that is used in these pieces - especially light painted colors. Knots, heavy resin streaks, seasonal cracking are all natural characteristics of pine products. As they age and are exposed to light these characteristics can become more a prominent part of the finish. This is a natural process in pine furniture giving it an antique look.
Constructed of solid pine, however Luan wood is also used for some cabinet applications, such as backs, side panels and bottom of drawers. As with all hand-made furniture, expect some minor imperfections.
