Regular vacuuming and the occasional gentle shake should keep your rug in shipshape condition. Small woven cotton rugs may be hand washed gently in cold water. For large woven cotton area rugs, we recommend professional cleaning only. Please do not machine wash, bleach or tumble dry.

The only reason I did not give this rug an excellent, is that the description I read before purchase indicated that the rug is washable. Well, technically, it is, but not to be machine washed and that is specifically what I wanted as I plan to use it in a "mud" room!! So, I'll use it for summertime as it can be spot washed by hand because this time of year doesn't bring in that much dirt. It is well made and the colors are lovely. All in all, a wonderful product.
Love, love, love the rugs. I only wish I could throw them in the washer. Otherwise, they're excellent.
Very pleased with the quality of the rug, and the colors were as pictured.
