Mud Season

After a week of bitter temperatures and feet of snow, the midwestern and eastern states are finally seeing sunshine and slightly warmer temps. this means, that the feet of snow have turned into a slushy, muddy, mess. Puddles form everywhere and the same people who complained about the cold and the snow now complain about the muck. By now I have come to understand that there are three seasons in Iowa: winter, summer, and mud season. Summer is for flip-flops, winter is for shoveling snow and after that, it is mud season. Kids, dogs, and anyone else who enters the house are tracking it in and spreading it around.
Our answer to mud season is beautiful rugs that capture the dirt and grime and cleanup with a hose or sponge. Rain and Shine rugs offer the look of an old-fashioned rag rug with new designs and colors and the cleanibility the old cotton rugs never dreamed of. Ultra-durable rugs offer traditional braided rug design with durability and hose-off ease.
