WAKEFIELD Collection quilts and Wakefield bedding accessories by Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. This striking Jacobean pattern is adapted from a late 18th-century block print. This technique is an ancient art and was very popular in Europe at that time. Wood blocks were hand carved, each representing a different color and design. Ornate flowers, leaves and scrolling vines give the Wakefield quilt its distinctive look. Machine washable in cold water, line dry.
